ratchet Posted April 14, 2010 Share Posted April 14, 2010 While driving my new 2010 Forester this morning the outside temperature was 52°F. I didn't have my fishing thermometer with me, however, I'm reasonably sure the temperature at the vents was at least in the mid 60s, if not warmer. I'm suspecting some air is passing through the heater core and this needs a cable adjustment or something. Have any of you noticed this on your Foresters? Fairtax4me Posted April 15, 2010 Share Posted April 15, 2010 The air coming into the car often passes through the engine compartment before entering the cabin through the blower fan intake. So obviously, unless the engine is off, the air getting into the ventilation system is going to be a bit warmer than the rest of the outside air. Just one possibility.
