2008 legacy tow hitch harness?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a question I would love some help with.

I have a 2008 legacy and want to install a tow hitch. I've had no trouble finding a tow hitch online, but the harness is another matter.

I'd prefer a "no splice" harness specifically (I haven't been able to locate one)?

thanks

thanks for the help, but my subaru deal was the 1st place I went.

if I remember correctly the exact quote I got was "subaru doesn't recommend putting a tow hitch on an 08 legacy".

so here I am.

You may want to try another dealer, because I know for a fact you get a trailer hitch for the Outback. They are very similar vehicles, so I don't see why you couldn't use a harness that was made for the Outback.

I don't think it was available in 2008, but does your Legacy have the CVT transmission?
