Base model, 2.5 liter non turbo... a friend of mine just bought it, and it's got 17" rims on it now. We'd like to get some cheaper studded snows for winter, and downsize to a 16" or 15" rim, and higher profile tire, to reduce the cost of the tire. A 225/70R15 is just a tad larger diameter than the stock 225/55R17's that are stock, and are WAYYYY cheaper. 15" steelies are only $20 or $25 each... but... will they clear the brake calipers?

According to the information I have found 16'' steel wheels should fit because the base model comes with 16'' steelies with a full wheel cover. I am not sure on the 15''s but I would think that they would fit. If you buy them used, just throw one on before you finalize the deal to make sure they fit.
