I found a 94 Wagon that looks to be in great shape, but I have a few ?? about it. It has 94k on it. How reliable are these motors? I have owned several GL-10s and they were great cars but had some major issues.

 

What kind of highway mileage can I expect out of the combo of turbo and auto??

 

I was looking at a 92 LS wagon with a 5spd but the car was pretty beat.

the first gen legacies, n/a & turbo are all pretty damn reliable. check out http://www.bbs.legacycentral.org for more info on mileage.

i know someone who purchased a 94 turbo wagon last summer, all original motor/tranny/turbo and he got it with 426,000kms on it, last i heard it had 438,000 and is still going strong.

 

i guess that should answer your question
