95 legacy front parking lights

Featured Replies

[...] before I connected back it seemed like the wire was stretched.

Hmmm -- although the break is where I expected it to be based on the measurements, I wonder how it got damaged there. After all, with the harness running between the fender and the inner fender liner, its really not exposed.

At least it's unlikely to happen again, and the repair looks solid.

Hmm good question.. I was in a bit of a rush to pick up someone so I did not get a shot before I put the heatsrink tubing on but when laying both flat it for sure looks like it got stretched.

You're welcome.

As to the wire looking "stretched", it might have gotten snagged at some point, cutting through the insulation and breaking some of the wire strands. The ones that were left would likely have eventually corroded.

Might have gotten tugged when the Alarm System was installed, or when it was removed......it certainly had to be connected to those wires somehow.

I know this system still has lojack in it and I've been trying to find the transmitter off and on.. I had no luck yet.

and the aftermarket alarm was omega or something odd.
