Im probably going to take a trip to spokane pull and save this weekend, and i was wondering what all i should grab for mods. I was thinking maybe power steering and disc brakes. I have an 82 gl wagon. Gimme some ideas:grin:

Convert from solid front rotors to vented.

Convert disc to drums.

I wouldn't bother with power steering if you do don't forget the thermostat housing, all the brackets and that your RH cyl head has to have holes or metal there to put them in.

I would look for weber carb on all the import cars.

Slanted radio console if you don't have that already

Power mirrors are kinda nice.

'82 *should* have the bolt holes for the power steering brackets if it's the original engine. '82 was the first year it was offered and I've seen them stock with it.

Personally I don't like them without the PS - off road is a pain in the rump roast without it. The wheel jerks too much.

Yeah. I was thinking the PS for off road too, i really don't care about it around town. So a weber on an import will generally be a 32 36? Also, what car would be best to find the brake stuff on?
