Just became a member. The wife has a 2004 Impreza and will need the TB changed out in the near future. Hoping to find some useful info on here. I have some mechanical experience but wouldn't consider myself an expert. I would just take it to a mechanic but think I can pull this one off and save some money, just added a little girl to the family on 10-10-10. Plus I want to get some experience with the 2.5's for when I do an engine conversion in my 87 VW Syncro.

You can do the timing belt. Use the search function and take advantage of all the tremendous wisdom here, almost every aspect of the job has been discussed and debated at some time or other! And if you hit an obstacle . . . just ask!
