December 9, 201015 yr hi my name is john and i am mostly into jeeps but its not so great for every day :nono so i picked myself up a 00 impreza wagon with a ej22 but now im starting to like it. been up a few loggingroads and threw 6inches of snow with it did pretty good. minus the 1.5-2inch lowering kit it has in it and the fartcan so im thinking some forester coils and a roofrack maybe a small bush bar..... something like Ratty2Austin Edited December 10, 201015 yr by johnoh
December 9, 201015 yr Author got the front forester sturts in rears in tomorrow so many people gave me weird looks when i was driving down the road on my way home......
December 10, 201015 yr Yep it's coming up. now the rears have to be done. Then there are tires with perhaps huge wheels. Beware friend. These are over the top polite machines and not the brutes we may have experience with. Your Jeep(s) are a tight package. My old stuff was brutal effective as well. These are not them and they will break. There is so much more to be stealth and take it on than to pretend and bust your Suubie then hate it. They are really cool cars but i'm a sentimental sort of rump roast, I guess.
December 14, 201015 yr Author dose anyone know how hard it would be to take out the ej222 and drop in a ej22t?
December 14, 201015 yr It would be tempting for me to say the tires are not tall enough. They don't look aggresive enough until I think about a few things. First I think they should be at least the circumference of a 185X70 and then the tranny works well yet not too large . The aggressive tread you have may be real good now. So then there is nothing to say except it's cool.
December 17, 201015 yr looking good. I just put OB struts on my Legacy and the tires look tiny as well. Gotta love having more air under it!
December 17, 201015 yr dose anyone know how hard it would be to take out the ej222 and drop in a ej22t? It would be quiet a bit of work due to the wiring, your car is an obdII and the legacy's 2.2 turbo was an obdI harness, it would be a lot of cutting and splicing. They are really good engines though! Also nice progress I though my 92 legacy with outback struts sat high! And + 1 on bigger tires! -SB
