What would you value a used topper at? I spotted one close to me, but the guy is asking $500! Supply might be next to nothing for these, but so is the demand, as there aren't that many Brats running around Colorado anymore.

Mine fits a Generation-2 Brat, a bit more available in WA state do to the West side of state being Subaru Meca and I have seen the price around $150 + - ? ..... but like you say ...supply vrs demand. Craigslist can be tweeked to search the whole list, just not local area & theres Ebay search.. Gen-1 or Gen-2 top? All I am familiar with is the Gen-2 top and they are more common. The ones I have seen on Gen-1 Brats where modified pick-up shells, but possibly they made a shell to fit them or one size fits all but I think there is a bed difference...

 

$500. seems steep, but how bad do you want one, how far do you want to drive, how long do you want to wait..?

In almost perfect shape I could justify 250 for one, especially a GEM top that isn't fiberglass but metal instead, maybe even 300 if the color matched the Brat.

200 would be a fair offer. if dude is after money, and it's in your pocket, he may just bite. Depending in how nice it is, you could bargain towards 300 on your offer.

 

But then again you can get them from subaru enthusiasts as easily.

 

I drove 250 miles to pick one up for 50 bucks.

Which should read I spent $40 on gas, $50 on the topper and my time.
