90 Loyale stuck in 4wd

Featured Replies

drove up to the mountain today and my car wouldnt go out of 4wd any ideas?

Push button 4wd? Theres a little mechanism on the side of the tranny that unlocks the rear from 4wd. Try moving that manually from underneath.

I believe its a vac operated gauge from the button, so theres something screwy in your electrics or vac lines preventing that mechanism from disengaging probably. When i flat towed my Subie I had to crawl under and check that thing was off before i started towing it.

dont use 4wd on dry pavement. try reversing while pushing the lever down(if a dual range). Welcome to part-time 4wd
