up on the STi and came across something interesting. It is a 3.9 final gear ratio in the ever so wonderful 6 speed. Probably doesn't bolt right up to an old EA81 but wonder how much work it would be.

 

All of this reading came about after a friend of mine said his Lexus IS300 can spank the Sti. He's not too bright. He was saying something to the effect of his car has a six cyl with xxx HP and no 4 cylinder could even compare because he eats mustangs for breakfast and such. When I told him it was 320 HP he brought out the BS flag so I took it and put it where the sun doesn't shine. I brought the STi brochure in the next day.

 

I haven't heard him say much since that except talk of trading in his car.

300 HP, but STi will still smoke it, the WRX will smoke it, and the 2.5RS will probably give it a run
