March 10, 201115 yr Is there a PDF or cut away for my Carb. It's on a 77 1600 and I'm having a he'll of a time getting it to work right, feel like Im missing pieces to it or something, will idle for about 15 seconds then die unless I keep giving it gas. This has to be the most overly designed carb ever
March 10, 201115 yr Amazing what you can find. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairguides/Subaru-ff-1-1300-1400-1600-1800-Brat-1970-1984-Repair-Guide/Carbureted-Fuel-System/Carburetor/_/P-0900c15280065ae8 Sounds to me like it is flooding. I would check the fuel level in the sight glass(love those).
