I have an 82 brat auto. I would like to put in a manual which transmissions work for the swap?

well, I think the brat is the same. It would be easiest if you get one out of the same engined car (I assume EA81), but I think you can make an EA82 fit with a little bit of working. I just swapped over an 87 gl coupe. Got lucky enough to find one with the same year at the junkyard, it was a wagon. Bolted right up. Just make sure you get ALL the bolts, as some are different. Also, on mine, the front-half of the drive-shaft is a different length, and the diff is has a different ratio. Of course, if it's fwd, that's not an issue. Also, you need the plastic console pieces (well, don't "need" them, but I'd recommend them).
