I picked up a 98 Forester and have been working on it. I did the front brakes today and noticed the struts were on backwards.

 

I don't know what they were thinking, but I'll get them switched around.

Inverted struts???

 

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm curious as to whether most Subarus utilize regular mounted struts and which ones use inverted struts. Anyone have a list of what Subarus use which????

How did they get the brake lines connected? Just left them hanging?

 

All the soobs I've seen the struts are oriented the same way.
