Ever since the coupe rolled down into my neighbors yard when the lights are turned off and I press on the brakes the headlights dimly light up and the stop lamp comes on and the dash lights come on. When I have the headlights on the stop lamp is constantly on and my brake lights are constantly lit up so when I press on the brakes and depress they dont dim back down so If a cop was to be following me I'd probably get pulled over. Does anyone have any ideas. Also since the car rolled backwards on the way down it took out a couple metal posts holding bird feeders and cracked a taillight and blew a bulb so I replaced it with a blinker bulb does that matter? Thanks

Having the wrong lamp in the brake/tail socket can very well cause all of those issues.

OK I feel dumb I got the real brake lamp and problem solved.
