I am trying to find a source for a rear baffle plate for my 97 2.2.

 

Most of the online dealers diagrams bring up the oil pan baffle when I do a search.

 

The one in this link shows number 2, but I think it is 34- right. Anyway, 34 is not in their catalogue.

 

 

Are there aftermarket baffles available?

But it's also called an "oil seperator" plate.

 

ANd if you're switching materials I hear you need screws as well.

I live 50 miles from the nearest dealer. They sell at full retail too. Around 50 bucks for the plate and screws after a 100 mile drive -R/T

I've got used plastic ones w/screws if interested PM me.

The one that is on there is not cracked, but leaking a little from the gasket. I've heard that the plastic ones get brittle over time and crack when reinstalling after changing the gasket.

 

Guess I'll just bite the bullet and pay the stealership.
