Opening the front driver's side door is not causing the dome light to come on. I can see what I think is the switch inside the door frame which looks like it has a single screw holding it on. What is involved in replacing this?

Does the light come on when you open the other doors? If so, then check for ground at the switch. All you have to do is remove the screw, pull the switch out, and disconnect the connector from behind. I beleive the screw itself is the ground for the switch itself.

Thanks for the quick response. The other doors do work fine. I think the switch is phsyically broken - it looks like it broke in half and is just being held in by the rubber. Is it just a matter of unscrewing it, connecting the wire to a new switch, and screwing it back in?

the screw is the ground on these,just change switch plug in wire and you got light.If it seems broken has probably lost ground abilities.

I know I've had mine off. If I'm not mistaken, it is possible to lose the wire inside the framing. Hang onto it with something.
