Hey everyone, Im going to be buying a 78 brat for 500 bucks soon I need to know where I can get parts for it. Ive looked on google and even did some searches here and I cant seem to find anything anywhere. Can someone please tell me where I can get some fenders ( they have some rust problems, i would rather replace them but I can fix them if i have to), doors (once again I can patch them up right but I would rather replace them), and taillights. I cant seem to find them any-place. I will eventually need to replace struts, I would like an upgrade but its seeming like the only way im going to be able to upgrade is if i retro-fit something off a newer subi correct? Any info is greatly appreciated. Ive only owned American and this is my first japanese car and im at a complete loss. Thanks in advance!

Welcome... I beleive Ebay has some fenders on there now.. ask here too on the Parts Wanted link too. We have a few poeple here that have Gen 1 Brat parts. Any other stuff you might need?? Make a list and Ill see what I have.... Oh and remember to post a pic of your Brat please... Always love to see them. You need tailights assemblies or just lenses??

I saw thos on ebay, I just thought there may be another place I could get them. Um I need just the lenses but its been without a lens for 16 years and the plastic inside has probably become brittle so I should probably replace the whole thing. Um I need a shifter boot. I think that's pretty much it. It's in pretty good shape. What do I do for an shock and strut upgrade?

Shocks and struts seem to be hard to come by... Just keep searching and I always watch ebay... Good luck .. Do you need both driver and passenger side rear lenses??? Dont have a boot sold one already but Ill keep my eyes open for you.. Let me check on the lenses for you...

Okay thank you so much. Shocks, struts, doors, fenders, taillights, shifter boot. I believe that's everything. Its in really good shape for sitting for 16 years and only paying 500 for it. It fired right up after some fresh gas drives beautifully

Looks like your missing the cowl piece by where your wipers are. Someone here on the board probably has one. Check with Moosens. He usually has odd parts like that and is a great guy to deal with.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that. I might actually have one. The lady I'm buying it from said she has some extra parts so I may actually have one lol

Window cowl looks to be in really good condition, fender is meh, got some spots that are rusted through... still though if you want it I can send it your way...
