Any good Exhaust places in Seattle area????

Featured Replies

I got my engine dropped in after 3 days of wrenching. Not bad for my first drop EVER! But it is still LOUD AS HECK. I have tried to fix exhaust before and I just plain suck at it. Anybody know of anyone relatively close by that is decently priced. Or can even do some upgrades to help out my 80 HP engine (because we all know they can use as much help as they can get)

ThanksAMillion

what do you need run, from the block back, from cat, what? most likly i can do it at my auto shop class if you want, its located in sea-tac.

but if it needs to be done "profesionally" then look up a place called sunnydale muffler in burien. i had 3inch dual exhaust ran from the long tube headers to the back bumper for $97.

i could do it for probally $50, maybe more depending on with you want. that is if you want to not run cats, otherwise i wouls say to go to sunnydale.

It had a serious leak from a while ago... I thought was just a flange gasket gone bad from the manifold but I'm not so sure anymore. It is very old, 83 GL and I'm sure that exhaust has never been touched scince it was new. That three inch from the manifold back sounds pretty nice. If you think you could do the fix, maybe even improve apon it a little then I'd be willing to pay for any parts needed plus reimbursement for your time if you wanna take a crack at it at yer shop. Only thing I really need it to do is pass emmissions sometime down the road. I used to have an 88 GL just like yours, that video clip sounds awsome. If you've got the knowhow and the elbow grease then I am down to give it a go. Hit me up and let me know whatcha think.

ya it sounds good, i can put on a single cat, so you can pas emissions, then run 2.5inch system back to maybe a glasspack, or the same muffler as me, a Thrush turbo muffler.

just have to pick up some mandel bent piping and such to build everything. ill bring my car in and get the measurments and such that you will need.
