The rear seat backs could be reinforced and cladded to form the front of the bed when the family is aboard. When hauling you could lift the hatch top, drop the seat and lower the new bottom hinged tailgate, for a standard length bed, fold the front passenger seat and you have a 12' fully supported length. I may just do THIS version, that way I can still have the full moonroof!

All rear lights will be in the vents for a really clean look I'd realy like to build this too, on a Roo platform ... wonder if you could just ct the body off a hatch and drop the bug shell on - then do the roadster cut?
March 12, 200422 yr the one i remember seeing was a brown 85-86 GL wagon with only the wagon part missing
