March 11, 200422 yr I thought 1990 was the first year for the Legacy. Searching for cars on AutoTrader I came across this. 1988 Subaru Legacy Did they really make them in 1988? Kelly Blue Book only lists Legacy back to 90. Thanks, Keith

Someone just listed it incorrectly. I have the Subaru press release form 89 talking about the arrival of the new legacy in 90.
March 11, 200422 yr 1990 was the first model year. My car was manufactured in 89...... Overseas there were probably a few legacies that were manufactured in 88. The overseas first MY's were 89.
