pedal to the metal (accelerator doesnt return)

Today my accelerator pedal started staying at the floor after pressing it. While looking into that I noticed the butterfly in the trottlebody only opens 1/4 of the way with the pedal to the metal. I think the cable is O.G. and probly stretched out because I couldnt adjust it enough to get rid of the slack. I also think there may be a return spring missing from the pedal assembly. As of now there is only one spring at the pivot point of the pedal. Does anyone have an illustrated parts breakdown of the accelerator pedal assembly, my Haynes manual does not go into much detail of these parts.
