My son changed fluid and filter in his 95 Legacy All wheel drive. When he tryed to refill the fluid it would only take three quarts of fluid and now it wont go into any gear. We tried everything we could think of,so please help!

Are you absolutely 100% POSITIVE that that the fluid went down the AT dipstick tube and not the one for front differential? Think, because it can get very expensive if you get it wrong.

Thanks Dude,I called my son from work and had him check. Guess what,thats what happened.I can't be too hard on him because he is trying to take care of things for himself and besides now I have somthing to tease him about.We will have to drain and refill the differential tomorrow and hope we didn't damage the internals of the trans.
