my wife has a second mail car that is a 1993 legacy postal. she has 5 months to retirement. the car is running very rich. to the point you cant stand to start it in the garage. i changed the air filter and plugs but no help. would injector cleaners help? if so what one is best? thank you again for all the help.

Change the O2 sensor and clean the MAF. Also check the resistance of the coolant temp sensor. That's a good start.

 

Injectors being clogged would cause a lean condition not a rich one.
