Welcome to the USMB.

Did you buy the nav unit from a dealer or some place else? Do you know if the nav unit replaces the current radio setup or is it an additional item? I'm assuming this is for your 2011 STi?

Hopefully others can chime in with any experience they have. You may also want to check out http://forums.nasioc.com/forums There's a lot more STi owners over there.

Well i bought it from a guy that was making a track car. Got a good deal on the unit. Now jus need some info on wiring it up and antenna adapter as well. It is the factory unit. My car jus came with a radio cd player which is clarion brand. The subaru navi is kenwood. So clips are all different. Need help

also nasioc you have to have 3 legimate replys to post a thread. so im kinda stuck because im a new owner... i just need some info. im lost

you already posted here 3 times. this is mainly a old subaru forum and anyone here with an '11 either just finally got one, or it is their first subaru, and the older soobs never had the nav:burnout:

NASIOC can be frustrating as we all know:) But more and more new subaru people with newer subarus are finding their way to this forum, and that knowledge base is growing.

Wow, you are totally off base. Please stick to the Old Gen forum.

This is the New Gen forum. Where you know, people have newer Subaru's.

There is a ton of info on Nasioc, you just need to read up then ask questions if you cant find what your looking for. Read the link that jarl provided, theres lots of info there.

I guess we are missing a "really new gen" category, since the "new gen" starts with MY '92 or so :)

Its an involved conversion that might not even be remotely plug and play, what are you trying to install the navigation system into? Was it coming out of an STI or going into one or were both cars?
