Power steering Loop

Featured Replies

I have removed my power steering pump and the lines running back to where they connect with the metal lines on the passenger side of the engine bay- looped a piece of hose between the two lines.

I am wondering if I can remove the metal lines where they come out of the box itself and plug them with the proper thread bolts. Or do they need to be looped to allow pressure to move in between them?

Hey...

I ran my escort zx2 with no lines and open for 2 years with no Ill effects.

The best thing though (aside ftom a,proper man. Rack) is a small loop. Keeps the insides lubed(and clean). I am afraid bolts might make it hard to turn.
