My 93 Loyale has not been running this whole winter due to it having some issues before it stopped running.

Last time I drove the car I was at a stop light and it just died, at first I thought it ran out of gas but I was wrong it would struggle to start and finally catch for about enough time to get a grin out of me then die. I finally towed it home and thought my timing belts went out but they were not, now fast forward past all the snow (3 months) and now its comfortable whether to work on it outside (No garage , burned down couple years back :()

Now I return back to the project, The roo half dis assembled. Back to putting it back together. I have my dads old wagon and have pretty much any part I was gonna turn mine into a 4x4 using all the parts from his gl, But first I rather get it running.

Suggestions?? I was thinking maybe fuel pump  or did my engine just go kaput?

im not sure this has never happened to me before on a subaru

yep, start with the fuel pump. my old loyale did that too when the pump was shot. pretty easy to change too, since its not inside the tank, just 3 10mm bolts from underneath, couple hoses, and an electrical plug. thats where id start first. also change the fuel filter while your in there, kill 2 birds with one wrench.
