87 GL Wagon

Featured Replies

New to this forum, I have looked at it many times and finally joined.

Lots of great Information.

I only wish there were more Suby fans here in Utah

My first suby was a '79 Brat with 27" tires, EA81, dual range 5spd, Turbo Flywheel/Clutch, and Dual Exhaust Stacks.

I now own an "87 GL Wagon With a 8" SJR Lift, soon to have EA81T--I know put an EJ in it, but hey I picked the runing and driving car up for 100.00 So that's why. Has 30X9.50 on it now Soon to have 235/85R16's, and blah blah blah. Of course dual exhaust with 'h' pipe. Whopping top speed of about 80mph down hill with a tailwind. Did take it to moab, ut hauling a trailer with 3 CR500's and did well, Semis passing but still pulled the Rockies!

That's me!

Welcome from another 87 gl10 turbo wagon owner....

87 is my favorite year. I have had an 87 gl fwd, 87 gl 4wd, and 87 gl-10 wagon. I had an 88 sedan with 86 parts, other parts, averaging out to be an 87 for that car. The 87 has a 1 year specific steering wheel.

Welcome to the USMB on behalf of the Subaru Alliance. I am just getting onto an '87 GL-10 with EJ22 swap.

Need some pics of yours!

There are a few Subaru board members here!

Good to have another.:burnout:
