front wheels camber

Featured Replies

Hi Guys!

Can somebody help me? I've just lifted my hatch by 4" and used 5" strut spacer to give it a little more clearance, but here's the trouble: I'm not able to get the camber straith even after making a little more room by hammering the inner fender. what should I do?

Did you use equivalent lift blocks on the motor and tranny crossmembers? Camber shouldn't be a problem if you lift the body at all contact points.. otherwise, you end up with the problems you have described.. if the body is lfted correctly, the suspension geometry will not change.

It's a little on the "Fabricators" end of things (but if U made your oun lift:brow: )

I would make longer lower controll arms, use a hime joints for the inner mount. Then U can adjust the camber. Just keep an eye on the inner DOJ so as not to pull it apart when @ full droop and turning;)

If U want to get real hard core with it U could go to EA82 front shafts (they are longer, but the same joints) and build the lowwers to the right length for them;)

I have the same problem!! With my new tires (Will have pics posted tonight) I dont want to wear them down do to poor chamber. But we did all correct. It is gross i want better chamber also!!!:banghead:
