Ej22 striped harness grounds

Featured Replies

Well just about to drop my ej22 into my gl, and started thinking about the grounds in my harness that I seemed to forget about when I stripped the harness down a couple months ago.

I started looking at it, there's no ground wires that contect to the frame in my harness, all ground wires lead back to the ECU.

Is the ECU the ground in my case? Or should I ground (cut and wire it to the frame)? If so which item grounds should I wire to the frame?

In the swap right up, there the diagram that shows the Ignition relay grounded, is that the one that should be grounded to the frame?

Need a little help here.... Thanks!

Prwa.

The ecu and all its sensors are grounded through the manifold harness connections. Sometimes there is another ground in the body harness but IIRC that is only on OBD-II's

Didn't even think about the Manifold harness! Okay so I'm good on grounds!
