The selector in my 3AT 1985 EA82T wagon selects gear just fine, but I have to push the shifter hard up to get the P light to show on the dash, and its difficult to get the reverse lights on in reverse. Is there adjustment on the inhibitor switch and where abouts is it? On the gearbox itself or in the shift lever?

My Wife's cars had a Similar problem once and I Fixed it by Removing the Cable to Clean and Lubricated all the Stuff related to the Shifter... Maybe that Idea could Help you.
