EGR light on after installing Weber on 1985 Brat

Featured Replies

Well, I installed the Weber 32/36 on my Brat. Guessed at how to deal with all of the Vac lines. The Brat is running GREAT now, But the EGR light is on now. It has never been on before. How should I hook the vac line up for the EGR?

So I will reset the light. Do I need to recconnect the Vac lines to the EGR stuff, the BRAT runs great as is. What about the Emissions Canister, do I need to somehow connect it? The Fuel Return line is plugged at the moment, is that a problem?/

Thanks,

Tony p

There is no good reason to delete the EGR.

There are good reasons to keep it.

Cannister can be canned.

Plug the purge line.

Not sure if the plugged return line w/be problematic.

I`d probably unplug it.
