May 15, 201213 yr This may be a stupid question. But in my 1997 Legacy, where in the engine bay is the horn located? Also, does this car have any sort of alarm system? Disclaimer: Although this sounds bad, I am not planning to steal any car. I have a 1997 Legacy and am looking to upgrade my horns, but if there is a honking alarm system, I don't want a ridiculously loud horn.
May 15, 201213 yr Behind the headlights. I've only ever seen them on the passenger side, but there is a wire and mount on the drivers side for another horn.
May 15, 201213 yr Author ohh okay. Is there a plug to remove it (or is it hard-wired into something)?
May 15, 201213 yr On my 99 OBW, it has two horns. They are located behind the two head lights. They are not hard wired, so you can disconnect at the wire connector. Just trace the wire back from the horn to find the connector. Should be ez to do.
