I have an 82 GL Brat with a stock Carter carb. I want to switch to a weber but all the ones from redline on eBay talk about them being a replacement for the hitachi? Will this work or do I need something different?

You need to swap to a hitachi intake manifold.

Lame, I was thinking that may be the case. How do I tell that it's a hitachi intake and what years did they come on? Thanks

1980 up.

Read the notice at the top of the 80s section too. Seems Redline is having adapter mixups.

How do I tell if it's a carter or hitachi?
