Hi guys. I realize there is a wealth of knowledge on this board and after scouring I haven't found the answer and hopefully it's not right in my face. I have a 78 wagon 4wd and would like to know how to tell if it is a Cali or non Cali model. The badge under the hood is faded but I do have a Vin I could give if that would help. I'm hoping and assuming there is some way of finding out. Any help would be great.

Check the driver's side door for a non catalyst decal. Fed vehicles (at least the BRATs) will be non catalyst for that year. Maybe someone has further info on the wagons?

Intake is different. Should be e'tron ignition too.
