will drive shafts from a 90's NA ej22 liberty (legecy) fit in a 98 2nd gen OUTBACK?

 

im only interested in fronts

front cv fitts from 89-02 legacy / outback some may need the tone ring konked off

well it does fit, but i just swapped complete hub/control arm/drive shaft from the 98 outback in to my 90 liberty (legecy)

I knew from my own recent experience that the knuckle/hub is identical between the 92 and the 96. So unless there was a wholesale change to the diff dimensions, I don't see why the geometry would be any different for the axle.

 

Even the tone ring was identical.
