Did the 2nd gen Outbacks ever have a ECU TSB?

I swear I saw something on end wrench before it was taken down.. something about the '97-99 year range about CEL regarding a misfire but the misfire was not really true.

For a example I replaced my starter contacts one day pulled the cable and all that hooked it back up.. I would get the classic 3 & 4 misfire every day.. I pulled the cable again when I did my transmission.. installed everything back and I haven't had it say anything.

Seems like each reset is OK or I'm going to spit out these same codes over and over until you reset me again

Hm...let me check my archives. I do remember in that era it mentioned something about not disconnecting the battery for only a few minutes, to leave it unhooked overnight or longer, else it could cause bad idling. Checked the archives and TSB's but didn't see anything offhand.....
