Question about window operation

Featured Replies

When I first bought my Subaru Forester, the operation of the windows seemed counter-intuitive to the way my Honda operated. Do the windows operate in the same direction on all models of Subaru? Does the Outback operate this way?

You press the button up/forward to lower the window and down/backwards to raise the window?

Thanks.

As far as I know it should be the other way around. I don't know how that would get reversed though unless someone has been moving wires around in the door. Is just one window affected or all 4?

Depends on how you look at it.

The front of the switch is pushed down for down.

You can either pull up on the front part or down on the rear part.

This is standard.

O.
