check engine light went off...

Featured Replies

yes, my check engine light went off after showing code 33 for coolant temp sensor. i let the car set for a week after the light came one to fix it, well i decided to start the car yesterday and drive it down the road to it didnt set. well as i go down the road the light goes off and it has yet to come back on, it also stopped the cutting out problem... i never changed the sensor or reset the codes. im still going to replace the sensor but why would it go off?

It may be getting an intermittent connection. Check the connector to make sure it's not all green and corroded. Or the spade connectors are splayed out and loose.
