ok i just re-built my hibachi on my 85 gl hatch and its fiered right up i was happy went and locked up the house to go for a drive and i pull out of drive and i let off the gas check that its idling it was. then i give it gas to take off and it dies now it wont start. what should i do? a little more info i look i got fuel in the float bowl and im getting spark so that's not the issue im pretty shur i have no vac leeks. any help would be appreciated also need this up and running by tomorrow so please help me

'85 Hatch should be the EA81, isn't it?

 

The Float isn't sticky, right? ... Because sometimes it stays up, don't letting fuel to get inside.

ya its a ea-81 I don't think its the float i just cleaned all of that

check the fuel shut off soleniod,

either check its working or just remove the guts of it,

front DS of carb 1 wire going to it.

this is what was wrong with my wagon.

well i got my carb working forgot to readjust the idel fuel air mix but my car has started to overheat im think its my rad fan ill be working on that now ill star a new thread for that after some searching if need be
