Is replacing a rear wheel bearing hub pretty much like replacing a front wheel bearing hub?

on 99's it is - same basic idea like you said. later models went to a really nice and easy bolt-on style hub/bearing that's much easier.

Thanks, I was thinking that. I would still like to see a u-tube video on hub replacement, if anyone knows a link to one.
