November 16, 201213 yr I had to swap my engine due to a blown ring and now after the swap I only have 4high and low. When I try to shift between 2and 4 there is nothing where 4 high should be and 4 high is where 2 should be. Any ideas?
November 16, 201213 yr Did you have the tranny out when you swapped the motor for some reason? Sounds like you may have to adjust the 4WD lever. If you take apart the console around the shifter there should be an adjusting nut under there......if memory serves me rite.
November 17, 201213 yr Author No adjusting nut. It's welded to the shifter. Fixed it by driving back and forth and pushing the shifter down.
