In my search for a water pump for my 1980 brat EA71 1.6l, there are apparently 2 options:

 

A: 2.4 inches from mounting flange to center of pulley

 

or

 

B: 2.525 inches from mounting flange to center of pulley

 

Does anyone know why some EA71's might have an 1/8th inch difference in pulleys?
