wow thanks for the info guys! I carefully poked around and to remove metal crud then blasted it out with carb cleaner. then wd-40. then carefully forced the key back in and now it works again. not the smoothest lock but it works

Anyone know of a good DIY on removing the lock cylinder. Mine is busted and i just want to knock all the tumblers out and have my legacy key work in it.

Also pictured is Nick W's new 86 brat GL. I am sure he will be loggin on soon enough. 1995 Subaru Legacy L FWD only 200k miles. Nicest driving car i have ever owned. Has all the bells and whistles and they all work. GOOOOO SUBARU go go go go till i got 600k miles

twice in the last year ive had a warm handfull of dead baby mice. almost vomit inducing. The brat had a whole next sitting on the heater core. i got in to it cause of the steam making me think the core was bad. EWWWWWW!!!! and then the cavalier had a nest in the blower motor. that was an easy fix but still gross

My first brat, and second one next to it. (i was 15 and didn't respect things yet) My uncle's Brat i learned to drive on. and drained the battery listening to cassette tapes often (behind it is his first Brat in need of rebuilding, and a 73 Datsun pickup)
