Meh. I get that all the time. In cold weather water condenses in the filler neck. If you had a hg leak, it would be mocha when you change the oil.

Thanks for the reassurance. Was hoping it was something along those lines in my head. Had a VERY slight amount of ...milk looking swirls on the dipstick that I tried to get a pic of but that wasn't happening. Hoping it was just the look of new oil mixing with old oil from just topping it up.
Guess I'll know sooner or later, still running fine though, and no bubbles in the coolant.

yes we have had allot of moisture here in the east , hot and cold days back to back. a slightly warm engine  gets a lot of condensate in it . check your PVC valves , unless you are driving short distances all the time moisture should vent out.

driving short distances all the time

Yes. Usually only a few blocks, maybe 3 miles at most. The Loyale is primarily used to scoot around town. New PCV valve around 10k ago. Will check it out. Was also an aftermarket one and not OEM. Thanks for the idea.

Take it for a 30-45 minute drive to get the moisture out of the crankcase, then recheck during the day after it cools. Check it before the temps drop at night.
