Fuel Pump GPM anyone?

Featured Replies

Anyone know the flow rate for a hitachi carbed ea82 fuel pump? I know the psi is 2.5-3.5 and will going up to 4.5 psi pump flood it?

Do you want flow rate or maximum pressure?  Pressure needs to kept close to standard, or you can overpower the float and valve.

I'm pretty sure I'm havin a flow issue, typically higher pressure equals lower flow n vise versa. She seems to be suckin the bowl flat, current fuel pressure is 6psi guessin I got a clog some where after the pump but shouldn't it max at 3.5 with the design of it?

I rigged up a fuel pump from shucks. The universal on in the box. I tgought it was goi g to be too big . But I hooked it up anyway. All my hardlines rusted out and broke. So I rigged up an assload of fuel hose. I actually think the beast fuel pump is better than stock. No issues flooding.
