  1. Sup folks Just recently started to hear that rhythmic tapping of a fuel pump on its way out. Personally I've never had a problem with Import Direct pumps but those were non-subis. I hate electrics for this reason, some brands get it right others don't and can vary in quality from make and model. So whos good?
  2. How bout what have you done to A subi lately... Just finished lifting a buddy's Outback, Forrester strut assembly and 1" spacers. Overall lift 2.5-3"
  3. Make sure your throttle cable has slack, tension will leave it open and not sit on the idle screw
  4. Green - normal Orange - dexcool Gold - universal Never mix green and orange, gold is good for both colors
  5. He doesn't go cheap when it comes to maintaining his rigs, fluids got changed in Nov changed again just a few days ago Seems to me that an oring might be cracked on cyls 1 and 4 injectors, acting like it's loading up at an idle
  6. Plugs and wires were done last year, NGKs are what was put into it
  7. Yup Was getting a miss on 1 and 4 blinking CEL when gunned, no longer blinking Both coils have the same possible miswire
  8. Buddy's rig helping him out anyways... Transition year coil Looking at the harness and coil comparatively, the red and yellow wires are swapped on the coil, should I repin it to the harness? Ran across this sort of thing several times before with aftermarket parts on other makes and proper thing was to repin it to the harness. Subarus any different?
  9. Might have this backwards... Too much tension the belt walks in Not enough the belt walks out
  10. Buddy got his 92 for $800 rust free externally, everything works even got an extra set of tires and rims, scrap weight your only looking at $200 really
  11. Sorry should have put the year, it's a buddy's 92 Loyale
  12. What makes one of these a Cali model? I'm thinking ecu, injectors, and throttle bore. Anyone know specifics?
  13. Thanks for the info Seriously tho if that's how it'll sit, that's pushing closer to 8"
  14. Pop the hood look on the emissions sticker, might just might be a high altitude model
  15. From my understanding accord springs with 2wd struts will yield 4" of lift for the rear probably more. Can I get confirmation on this number?
  16. Just installed my new 10" dual cooling fans... Was going to post pics but it's telling me forbidden

  18. Oh let's see... On my Subaru... Inside belt v-belt broke took the outer with it in bfe, wrapped electrical tape in the groove for the water pump and main pulley a few times, drove AT SPEED (3k) for 45 miles held just fine Samurai... Similar situation but the ear mount broke off the water pump for the alternator, used hair ties to run the water pump in that case it lasted the 30 miles I needed it to F250... Blew out the upper tank on the rad, bent everything back to position, using what I had in the truck, bailing wire and mighty putty in this case, pressed as much mighty putty in to where the brazing fail, locked the tank down to the core with the bailing wire, continued to drive it like that for 3 years my daily driver at the time
