Stage 2 turbo problem.

Featured Replies

Any ideas? I have a '96 legacy gt-b spec. When i nail the car over 100kph and hit 4000 revs the engine dies as if i have hit the cut off limiter and the check engine lights comes on. Does this mean my stage 2 turbo is dead?

Are you running higher boost pressure than stock? You might be running into an overboost fuel cut. I know the older turbo subarus do that if you go above a certain pressure for a certain time.

Yeah it sounds fuel cut. Is your car is a auto ? I know when my friend hits fuel cut in his supra it kills the engine for a sec, but sence its a manule it is forced to re start, and the check engine light comes on for a couple secs.
