Upgrading cams

Featured Replies

so i was reading on one of the forums about the delta cams can i get a rundown or step by step on the cams and how to replace them first timer also found a apex i drop in dry filter looks pretty decent but i would like to replace my cams looking for the jdm hood with the scoop for the legacy rs and do a nice stock borla look any tips on where i can find these parts and what would be a nice clean sleeper look for my leggy?

What year is your Legacy and what engine does it have in it?

The cams come out pretty easily and should be able to be done in the car.  We can provide some more info once we know what year and engine you have.

There is a cap on the back side of the passenger side head that the cam will slide out.  The driver's side cam comes out the front and there is a piece that unbolts from the head that allows the cam to come out.

Before you do either of these things, the timing belt and covers have to come off as well as the valve covers and rocker assemblies.

Here are some pictures of installing the cams in my ej22t.
