Can't find EJ oil pump bolts and the pump is removed from my spare engines, with no bolts to be found.

 

I think they're all the same length (unlikely older gen oil pump bolts?

 

Same as the water pump bolts?  Same length anyway?

 

Any attention to material...stainless or no...if i get them from a hardware store?

nless in aluminum. go to the hardware store. thread is m6x1.00. get one that is the right length.

Stainless + aluminum = bad. Hardware store stainless is usually pretty soft anyway.

I save those size bolts whenever I take something apart at the junkyard, I have dozens of them floating around in my toolbox.

If need be I can likely pull a pump and send you the bolts late tomorrow.

 

I'm sure I have some removed but no idea of where.

thanks guys.  i found some in my box of fasteners...i think they're even EJ oil pump bolts, perfect length, looks the same, etc.
